One of the last videos I watched, the word self-control was mentioned. It got me to thinking on how the word Sophronismos is the Greek word meaning self- control (2 Tim 1:7); however if you look it up as one of the fruits of the Spirit (Gal 5:22,23), means the same in English: Self-control, but that Greek word is Egkrateia. So I guess my question is why would these two mean the same but have diff Greek words? Just something that struck me interested.
